Forester Lake
Here is a lake with real character to it! Big bays with plenty of islands make Forester a very intriguing lake to fish.
Forester Lake is just over six miles long, but with all these bays, points and islands, it offers you almost forty miles of
shoreline to challenge your fishing endurance. On Forester Lake you will experience plenty of action on both walleye and
northern pike, but our seasoned walleye fishermen return year after year to this camp because of its exceptional walleye action.
With just a six man camp, Forester Lake sees very little fishing pressure each year, so you don't need a wide variety of tackle to
catch fish here. Bring plenty of walleye tackle such as jigs and twister tails, a selection of colors is suggested for different
cloud cover, but yellow is always the most popular. Ultra light and medium spinning gear is recommended. Locate Forester on
the map and note the numerous long bays and jagged points. This is truly walleye water, but you
can expect lots of action on northern pike as well - so stock up the tackle box with a selection of spoons and steel leaders. Forester
is a very picturesque lake with its rugged shorelines and sandy beaches. Be sure to bring plenty of film!
